I am a fan of those steaks, cauliflower doesn’t taste much so they absorb all the flavor from the spices you give it.
Give it a try you will be surprised how easy and tasty it is 🙂
- Seasoning of your choice (salt, pepper, minced garlic & a hint of paprika is pictured above), your favorite steak spices, or even rubs would work
- The hardest part of this recipe is to carve slices in the cauliflower without them breaking. Remove the steams ( if any) and cut the cauliflower in half. From there, cut slice about 1″ thick . Season your “steak slices”.
- Over medium-low heat, heat up a skillet (cast iron works really well here). Once hot, add the oil and place your slice in the pan. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side. Be careful not to have your pan TOO hot else you will burn it and it will be raw inside and burned outside.
